Dall Sheep Hunts
Our dall sheep hunts take place in the Central Alaska Range and are spot and stalk backpack hunts. The Alaska Range rams are known for their wide flare and light-colored horns and average 34-38 inches, however, there are some that reach the 40” range. The average age is 9-10 years old, with some that are older. This hunt is by far one of our most physically demanding hunts, as sheep live in some of the most rugged and impressive country. Your hunt will start in Healy, Alaska and from there you will either be flown out to our basecamp or directly out to a spike camp. This is a backpack hunt, and you will likely be moving camp from day to day
Season starts August 10th and goes unti September 20th.
Hunters can also harvest a grizzly bear and wolverine after September 1st on a trophy fee basis if the proper tags are bought prior to the hunt. Wolf may be harvested without a tag and with no additional charge.
